With passion, determination, and a deep belief in following her purpose, she transformed her love for beauty into a mission of empowering others. What began as a journey as an esthetics student grew into a successful career as a licensed esthetician and spa owner. Through years of dedication, she mastered her craft while helping clients build confidence and embrace self-care.
Inspired to make a greater impact, she founded Big Island School of Aesthetics to create opportunities for aspiring beauty professionals. Her vision was to provide more than just education—it was to build a supportive community where students can gain knowledge, develop practical skills, and form meaningful industry connections.
Built on the belief that passion fuels purpose and motivation drives success, Big Island School of Aesthetics reflects her commitment to education, empowerment, and excellence. Through her leadership and guidance, she continues to inspire future estheticians to pursue their dreams, achieve their goals, and build rewarding careers in the beauty and wellness industry.
Saundra Carroll is a visionary educator whose journey is a powerful testament to perseverance, empowerment and lifelong learning. At the Beginning of her career at Flavio's Beauty College in 1968, she embraced every opportunity to grow as she continually expands her knowledge and expertise in aesthetics and cosmetology. The dedication to excellence transformed her passion for beauty into a lifelong mission of inspiring and uplifting others.
As a licensed cosmetologist, NCEA-certified esthetician, licensed instructor, and educator for Matrix Essentials, Saundra has spent more than two decades shaping the future of the beauty industry. Since becoming an instructor in 2003, she has empowered countless students by developing professional products, creating treatment protocols, and designing comprehensive curriculum that provides both knowledge and opportunity.
With the advanced certifications acquired in Rhonda Allison, Eminence, Dermaplaning, and Chemical Peels, she remains committed to continuous education and innovation. Through meaningful connections, mentorship and unwavering dedication, Saundra inspires aspiring professionals to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with confidence to transform their passion into purpose and success.
